Transmission Code is a code of practice under the Electricity Regulatory framework. S18 Compliance with Code of Practice of the Electricity Act stipulates the requirements. Apart from setting the minimum conditions on obligations to provide transmission services and non-discriminatory access to the transmission system of the Transmission Licensee, Transmission Code also spells out the rights and obligations of the Transmission Licensee in providing transmission services, together with the rights and obligations of users of transmission services as well as technical requirements for those, including consumers of electricity, who are connected to the transmission system.
In SS638:2018 (Formerly CP5), Transmission Code is listed, inter alia, under Appendix 2(L), the statutory requirements, for compliance.
This short course is structured through lectures and case studies to enhance the learning experience. The participants will learn through this short course about the rights and obligations of connected persons and technical requirements under the Transmission Code, inter alia.
